The Homeland Is Not in Peril

The following is a full quotation of Zhihu user 半斤量二两收's response to the question, “If the homeland were in danger, and you were needed to fight, knowing that you might very well die, would you go?” It is reproduced without changes.

Over more than two thousand years, what dangers has the homeland ever faced?

Emperors came one after another; dynasties changed one after another. The homeland's great rivers and mountains are still there, standing firmly in place.

The Yangtze is still the Yangtze, and the Yellow River is still the Yellow River. Nothing has been affected.
